Legacy Find an Arborist Tools

The tools below are part of ISA's legacy Find an Arborist system. While still available for reference, this system is no longer being updated and will be retired by 30 June 2026

As noted above, these tools are part of ISA’s legacy Find an Arborist system and will be retired by 30 June 2026. They should be used for past reference only. The new Find an Arborist portal will serve as ISA’s primary tool for both searching for and verifying ISA-credentialed professionals.

The legacy “Find an Arborist” system was last updated on 7 July 2025 and will be officially retired on 30 June 2026. ISA is transitioning to a new Find an Arborist portal that allows credential holders to manage their own professional information and provides the public with the most accurate and current credential verification.

For ISA credential holders who want to update their information:

  • Professional details are managed through the new Find an Arborist portal. Information from the legacy system is not transferred automatically
  • Instructions for logging in through your digital credential and managing your profile can be found here

ISA credential holders have the opportunity to include information in their profiles in association with their experience and ISA credentials. This is a voluntary listing and some credential holders choose to remove themselves from the listing and/or do not have their location and information listed. If you are not able to see available credential holders for your city/state/country, you should still be able to verify a provider’s name and ISA certification recipient ID for a provider/credential holder serving your area.

ISA promotes the hiring of companies who have ISA certified professionals on staff. ISA certification holders are held to a Code of Ethics and are encouraged to follow industry standards. Certification demonstrates the individual has the minimum knowledge and skill requirements to perform work according to the scope of the program they hold a credential in. If you believe an ISA certification holder has not followed minimum ethical behavior requirements in the provision of services associated with their ISA certification, you may report a code of ethics violation.
